Due to a scheduling error, I am now out of class until January 10th, and I am so fuxxin' bored. It's almost never a happy medium, I'm either bogged down or itching for something to busy myself with. Long story short, I was scheduled for some classes without meeting the prerequisites so I withdrew from the classes until I take said prerequisites. I've been doing some digital painting and have a couple works in progress. Also been working on concept art for Adventure Squad, which is coming together nicely, just a couple more characters to finish out and then I might be able to get to paneling out some pages. Until that time, I'll keep posting concept work.

It's times like this I wish I owned a game console. Anything to occupy myself during the cold winter months when I really don't have anything better to do than sit around and vegetate. I'm going to make it a point to get one after the holidays are all over and done with. The primary inspiration for this decision is a game called Bayonetta which is slated for US release in January. I've been checking out the game a lot and it looks fantastic. It's done by the same guy who did Devil May Cry (the first one) and Viewtiful Joe, two of my favorite action games of all time. Bayonetta looks to be another game in that vein, a strikingly original and stylish action packed romp sure to burn away boredom anywhere it rears its ugly head. I could really go for something like that right about now.
